Guadalupe Preciado has been one of the top trainers on the Mid-Atlantic circuit for over a decade. Lupe began training horses in 1989 and has won over 1,400 races. Horses he has saddled have earned over $25 million. With ten graded stakes wins and over sixty stakes wins, Lupe has consistently proven to be a trainer to contend with. His best horse was perhaps Caught In The Rain who won the Mrs. Revere Stakes(G2) at Churchill Downs and Athenia Handicap(G3) at Aqueduct.
Lupe and his wife Wendy reside on a farm in eastern Pennsylvania with their children Robert, Amanda, Sara and Joe.
"Terry makes sure that his trainers have every tool necessary to win and allows them to put their horses in the best position to win. His staff does their homework and makes sure that their Partners are kept up to date on everything. It's a pleasure to deal with an organization that wants to give people the opportunity to succeed at the highest levels."
"Lupe is someone I have known for many years and have a great deal of respect for. When we brought horses back to Philadelphia Park, I knew that Lupe would be a trainer that we wanted on our team. He comes to work everyday for one reason: to win races."
