Tuesday:
Cince de Mayo
breezed a solid half-mile in 49.90 at Palm Meadows.  Tom Albertrani said she went "really well".  She's starting to get nice and tight.  She will work back early next week and looks on target for a late March debut.

Fitz Just Right breezed a good five furlongs in 1:02 flat.  Tom Albertrani caught her a couple ticks slower, but he was very pleased with the work.  He does not want to overwork her, but she is definitely getting racy.  We should be on target to run in March.  However, we will pick and choose our spots.

Hey Hey Mama breezed a strong half-mile in 49.90 at Palm Meadows.  Tom called it a "good looking breeze."  She has done nothing wrong since coming to the track, and Tom is very pleased with the condition she is holding.  She looks poised for a March debut as well.

Monday:
Awesome Gem
breezed a beautiful six furlongs in 1:14.80 at Hollywood Park.  David Flores breezed him and said that our classy veteran is, "ready to to run now."  Awesome Gem cruised around and galloped out spectacularly.  We have set the schedule for him.  We will run in the $250,000 Kilroe Mile(G1) on March 6th at Santa Anita.  The Kilroe is run at a mile on the turf and would be used as a prep race for the New Orleans Handicap(G2) on March 27th at the Fair Grounds.  This would give us the turf to dirt angle as well in that race.

Beloved Deputy breezed a good five furlongs in company with Boulder Creek at Hollywood Park. Craig wanted to give her company and have her pick her head up a little bit. She responded well and stayed with Boulder Creek the whole way. She is on schedule to run in the first half of March.

Boulder Creek worked a good five furlongs in 1:00.80 this morning at Hollywood Park. He went in company with Beloved Deputy and went well. However, back at the barn he scoped with mucus after the work. The vet felt Bouler Creek might be trying to fight something off, so he recommended giving him a 3-4 day run of antibiotics We are going to bypass this weekend's race.

Buzzin and Dreamin worked a sharp half-mile in 49 flat at Oaklawn Park.  Wayne Lukas wanted to get a little air into his lungs in advance of his start in the "a other than" allowance going a mile on February 25th at Oaklawn Park.  We drew post 3 of 8 with Terry Thompson up.

Camp Victory breezed a solid half-mile in 49.20 at Santa Anita.  He's fit and doing well.  Carla just wants to keep the edge off of him a little bit.  He's ready to run.  There was nothing for him in the current condition book at Santa Anita, so we'll also take a look up at Golden Gate.  If there's nothing, then we'll run in the next condition book at Santa Anita.

Cantankerous Clyde breezed a good five furlongs by himself in 1:01.20.  Craig continues to work on getting him to relax.  Cantakerous Clyde was well in hand throughout.  He broke off slowly and finished strongly.  Craig called the work, "A growing up kind of breeze.  He was very good."  Clyde will return to the starting gate in the first half of March.

Sunday:
Belle of the Hall
breezed a beautiful three furlongs in 37.40 at Palm Meadows.  Tom Albertrani called the work "perfect."  Belle of the Hall has been going well.  She will work back at the end of this week.  Tom has not yet put a timeline out for a start.

Justwhistledixie fired a bullet half-mile in 48.40 at Payson Park.  This was her last major tune up in advance of the $100,000 Sabin Stakes(G3) on February 27th at Gulfstream Park.  Click here for the past performances for the 24 nominees.

Sheryl's Melody worked a beautiful half-mile in 49.20 at the Fair Grounds.  Dallas really was only looking for a 51 and change easy breeze, but Sheryl has been really full of herself after her last race.  Normally she's a filly that you have to work on in the mornings, but she went pretty well on her own.  Click here for video of the breeze.  She is on target to run back on the turf in the first half of March.

Saturday:
Merus Miami
worked six furlongs 1:17.60 at Golden Gate.  The work was slower than O.J. designed.  The rider went too slow early, but Merus Miami finished with good energy.  Merus Miami will work back this week, and we will point for the "two other than" allowance on March 6th at Golden Gate.

Phosphorescent breezed a good five furlongs in 1:04 at the Fair Grounds.  The track was very deep and tiring on Saturday, so this actually was a pretty good work.  We're looking to have something written for him early next week.

Tapit's Brew breezed an easy five furlongs in 1:03.60 at Palm Meadows.  Tom Albertrani said, "He's really coming along.  He's moving well."  Tom said that he thinks Tapit's Brew is about three weeks away from being ready to run.

Friday:
Seeking The Ghost
breezed an easy half-mile in 50.50 at Palm Meadows.  It was her first breeze back after her last race, and she is doing well.  We are on target to run back at the end of the month or early March.

The Defense Rests breezed a strong half-mile from the gate in 47.91 at Belmont.  He earned his gate card and worked in company.  He worked well.  Mike plans to give our colt one more easy breeze next week, and then we will be ready to run.

Thursday:
Bellhouse
breezed a strong five furlongs in 1:02.20 at Palm Meadows.  Tom Albetrani changed up Bellhouse's routine a bit by starting him onto the track at a different spot, and he went very well.  He finished up nicely, and we should only need two more works before running.

Macho Again returned to the worktab working an easy three furlongs in 38 flat at the Fair Grounds.  This was simply designed to be a routine leg stretching breeze and that's what it was.  We should now be on a regular breeze schedule.  Macho Again is carrying excellent flesh and has been really training great.

Mr. Fantasy worked an excellent five furlongs in 1:02.80.  Mr. Fantasy came home the last quarter in 24.3 and the last eighth in 12.1.  Mike Hushion said that the track was slow and tiring and Mr. Fantasy got a lot from the breeze.  Mike expects the racing secretary to write us a comeback race in the first half of March at Gulfstream.
