Monday:
Belo Sorte
breezed a bullet half-mile in 48 flat at Gulfstream Park.  The work was the best of eight at the distance.  Dale Romans said Belo Sorte came out of the work well.  He has not picked out a race for Belo Sorte yet, but we will run before the end of the Gulfstream meet.

Celtic Charmer breezed a solid half-mile in 49 flat at Hollywood.  The work was 8th of 32 at the distance.  Celtic Charmer is a fast workhorse, and he has done everything right since returning from the shin issues.  Craig reaffirmed that we are on target to debut early at Hollywood.

Edenise worked an easy three-furlongs in 35.60 at Hollywood.  Craig called it a "routine breeze".  There wasn't too much to talk about.  We are on target for a 20k maiden claimer on April 21st at Golden Gate.

Sunday:
Hey Hey Mama
breezed five furlongs in 1:03.65 at Palm Meadows.  The work was 18th of 23 at the distance.  The filly has been "workmanlike" in her breezes.  Tom thinks that we'll likely find a MSW back north in late April.  We're probably just going to miss the tail end of Gulfstream.

Merus Miami breezed a strong half-mile in 48.20 at Golden Gate.  O.J. Jauregui called it a perfect prep for Merus Miami's race on April 2nd at Golden Gate.

Moonstruck Maya breezed a lovely three furlongs in 38 flat on Sunday over the training track at Santa Anita.  The work did not get recorded but it would have been the best of two at the distance.  Carla Gaines said that if the filly continues on this path she should run by the end of May.

Saturday:
Beloved Deputy
turned in her first breeze since winning going an easy half-mile in 50 flat at Hollywood.  The work was 21st of 30 at the distance.  Craig didn't want to much from her, so this was a good move.  Craig is looking to run her back in an "a other than" allowance going a mile on the turf on April 24th at Golden Gate.

Flat Bold returned to the worktab going a bullet three furlongs in 37 at Palm Meadows.  The work was the best of nine at the distance.  Flat Bold is simply a fast horse no matter how easy you want him to go.  He will now be on a regular breeze schedule, and he should return to the starting gate in late May or early June.

Mesa Thunder worked a sharp half-mile in 47.60 at Hollywood.  The work was 5th of 30 at the distance.  Craig wanted Mesa Thunder to go easily, but he's just a fast worker.  This was as slow as he could go.  Craig has found a six furlong "a other than" allowance on April 24th at Golden Gate.  We'll try and come right back and take advantage of the fact that he liked that track and the softer company second off the layoff.

Mine For Love breezed a solid six furlongs from the gate in 1:15.10 in company with another horse.  Lupe reports that Mine For Love broke a little slowly but not badly.  His company could not keep up with him.  Mine For Love got five furlongs in 1:01, but then he started getting a little tired and also began looking around in the final furlong.  Lupe was pleased overall with the work though.  He expects one more breeze this week with a little better company that can keep up, and then we will be ready to run.

Friday:
Boulder Creek breezed a spectacular seven furlongs in 1:26.40 at Hollywood Park.  Boulder Creek had another horse jump in and join the work at the half-mile pole, and that horse could not keep up with Boulder Creek.  Craig caught Boulder Creek galloping out the mile in 1:39.  Jockey Tyler Baze was aboard for the work, and he loved the colt.  Boulder Creek switched leads perfectly and did everything right.  We are on target for the $750,000 Santa Anita Derby(G1) on April 3rd at Santa Anita.  We enter Wednesday for Saturday.

Macho Again worked a lovely five furlongs in 1:02 flat at the Fair Grounds.  The work was 6th of 18 at the distance.  Macho Again went out in 50 and change and came home the last eighth in 11 and change.  Dallas caught him galloping out six furlongs in 1:14 and change.  Macho Again will ship to Churchill Downs on Sunday.  We remain on target for the $1,000,000 Charles Town Classic on April 17th at Charles Town.

Seeking The Ghost breezed a solid half-mile in 49.45 at Palm Meadows.  The work was 8th of 25 at the distance.  Seeking The Ghost is ready to run.  We'll look to get her into a better position to break her maiden next time out.

Thursday:
Belle of the Hall breezed an easy five furlongs in 1:03.90 at Palm Meadows.  The work was 16th of 21 at the distance.  Belle of the Hall has made steady progress.  She hasn't dazzled yet in the mornings, but she hasn't done anything wrong.  Tom would like to take advantage of her Florida bred status before Gulfstream closes.  The only Florida-bred MSW in the book is on April 8th at Gulfstream.  Tom would love the race to be a little later in the month, but this is the only race in the book.  We'll tentatively circle that race unless Tom finds out that an extra will be written.
