We watched this filly breeze at the Barretts March Sale and immediately took note of her long stride and athleticism. We looked at the bottom of her catalog page and saw Pennsylvania Bred. We went back to the barn to see her in the flesh, and we were hooked. Her sire, Flashy Bull became West Point’s first Grade 1 winner when he captured the 2007 Stephen Foster Handicap (G1). His first foals are two-year-olds of this year, and they’ve been very well received by the industry. We love promoting a young stallion with all the parts to be influential on the breed in years to come.

The Pennsylvania bred program is lucrative. Racing at Parx has really improved leaps and bounds over the past few years. With a limited pool of horses, we have the opportunity to be a big fish in a small pond. Statebred maidens run for nearly $50,000!

We've enjoyed success with Guadalupe "Lupe" Preciado. He campaigned Grade 1 stakes placed filly Amazed By Grace for the black and gold and also the stakes performing PA Bred Wincat.

We love the fact that this filly’s dam is by Carson City. He’s proven to be an excellent broodmare sire. Our grade 1 winning filly Lear’s Princess is out of a Carson City mare.
