Macho Again is West Point Thoroughbreds' all-time leading money earner, with earnings of over $1.8 million. He has developed into one of the top older horses in the country. Macho Again ran a near-miss second to the wonder filly Rachel Alexandra in the 2009 Woodward Stakes (G1) at Saratoga.
Macho Again stepped up his game in 2009 and flourished on the racetrack. His 2009 earnings were over $1,000,000. He won the New Orleans Handicap (G2) at the Fair Grounds, and came back two races later to score in the Stephen Foster Handicap (G1). He was second in the Woodward (G1) at Saratoga.
In 2008, he won the Jim Dandy Stakes (G2) at Saratoga, as well as the Derby Trial at Churchill Downs. He was second to Big Brown in the Preakness Stakes (G1) and was second in the Super Derby (G2) as well.
His has mastered his last-to-first running style and always comes running when they turn for home. He may not be the biggest horse, but Macho Again has a huge heart. He has given us so many great thrills.
