Her dam, Hot Golden Jet, by A.P. Jet took advantage of the New York-bred program, earning over $200,000 and placing in two stakes. Hot Golden Jet comes from a very good family of Will Farish's and her dam is a full-sister to the Farish-bred multiple Grade 2 winner Grand Jewel. This filly's fifth dam, Nosey Nan, is very closely related to champions Moccasin and Apalachee and the great broodmare Thong. The family is one of the best in the stud book and includes great sires Sadler's Wells, Nureyev, and Fairy King, among many others.
One of El Corredor's best horses, Lone Star Derby(G3) winner Wanna Runner, is bred on this same cross, out of a Mr. Prospector line mare. El Corredor gets all types of runners, with Grade 1 winners on dirt like Adieu and on turf like Backseat Rhythm, as well as the Polytrack Grade 1 winner Dominican. El Gato Malo, by El Corredor, won the Lone Star Derby(G3) for us, and we think this filly should fit well anywhere, but especially in New York.
