We've always been huge fans of Indian Charlie and there aren't very many sires out there that are any better. As a norm they're beautiful horses and sell well, but Indian Charlie has proven it both in the sale ring and on the racetrack. This colt is a very typical Indian Charlie with good bone and very athletic.Indian Charlie has 45 stakes winners and has sired a top-class runner in just about every category from champion juvenile filly and sprint filly Indian Blessing to champion older mare Fleet Indian; from Super Derby(G2) winner My Pal Charlie to top turf sprinter Mr. Nightlinger.
If this colt can run like any of those horses, his pedigree gives him the right to be worth a lot of money as a stallion. His dam, Saratoga Cat, who won over $186,000, has already produced a winner and is half sister to stakes winner Sexy Boots. The next dam is half sister to Black-Eyed Susan(G2) winner Costly Shoes and stakes winner Cherokee Dazzler. His fourth dam Bill and I, is dam of Santa Anita Derby winner Diabolo, and third dam of champion and leading sire Dehere.
This family also includes another good son of Indian Charlie, Charlie's Moment, winner of almost $250,000, so the cross has already worked really well.
