A son of Awesome Again, Awesome Vision has three wins to his credit this year, including a dead heat victory in the Compelling Word Stakes in March at Aqueduct.

“He’s been consistent all year,” trainer Tom Albertrani said. “His last race wasn’t terrible, and he wants to go further. You get a little spoiled when they win three in a row and run fourth. A little extra distance is certainly going to help him.”

“Things didn’t set up for him in his last race,” said WPT president Terry Finley. “With his deep closing running style, he’s going to be vulnerable at times. When he’s on his game, his closing kick is awesome.”

Post time for the 1 1/16 mile Commentator (race 8 ) is 4:45 ET. Irad Ortiz, Jr. is in the irons.
