Bid For Silver, our three-year-old daughter of Silver Charm, scored a convincing victory in her two turn debut at Aqueduct.  Out of a Spectacular Bid

Bid For Silver, our three-year-old daughter of Silver Charm, scored a convincing victory in her two turn debut at Aqueduct.  Out of a Spectacular Bid mare, Bid For Silver had always trained like a filly that would love going a route of ground.

Trainer Rick Violette said, “I really thought she’d appreciate being able to settle a bit early without losing too much ground.  She doesn’t have the most explosive turn of foot, but she has always stayed on well in her training.  Her breeding indicated she wanted to go longer, but she got a lot from her first couple starts.  This was a perfect spot for her, and she got a perfect trip.  Mike Luzzi kept her in perfect position, and when he asked her to go she just drew off.  Hopefully she’ll continue to move forward off this.”

Bid For Silver earned $14,400 for the victory.
