Speeding to a second straight win on Thursday at Gulfstream, Cavu is off to a great start in 2024 for trainer Cherie DeVaux.

The Florida-bred filly aced the step up against winners, leading all the way underneath jockey Jose Ortiz.

Cavu opened her win account in similar fashion on January 7. Cherie acquired her at the 2022 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale of two-year-olds in training for West Point and racing partners Iapetus Racing, Diamond T Racing Richard Alpin and Runnels Racing.
