The victory took Dancing Compass to a 1-4-2 record from 12 starts. The decision to move her to Parx was made after her season debut at Gulfstream, where she ran fourth going a mile on the turf.
“This is a hard-trying filly who has been knocking on the door for quite some time,” remarked West Point Thoroughbreds founder and president Terry Finley. “She’s been a regular among the top three and it just took some outside-the-box management to find the right place for her to find success. We’re pleased with the progress Lupe made and look forward to her next time out.”
