Just finishing up an amazing week.  I got back from the first training sale of the year on Wednesday night. We ended up with seven two year-olds.  Prices are down about 30%.  Quite simply it is a great time to buy and race horses.

Our horses are running well right now.  We won a stake last week in California with El Gato Malo, finished third with Buzzin and Dreamin in the Southwest, and won the Ocala Filly race on Monday with Fitz Just Right. We all look good when these horses run like they run.  Actually, it takes buying the right horses, putting them in the right hands and giving Mother Nature a chance to work her magic (i.e. giving them time to get ready to race and then recover between races).

The Triple Crown Trail is starting to heat up.  Each week the deck changes some.  We hope we have a chair to sit in when the music stops later this spring and the Derby Field comes together.

The entire WPT team is excited about our first ever live webinar to be held on Tuesday afternoon at 1pm est.  Here is the link:

I'll discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly of the thoroughbred industry.  I look forward to having you join us on Tuesday afternoon.

All the best,

Terry
