On April 4th West Point Thoroughbreds three year old colt Flashy Bull arrived in Kentucky to continue his training for the Kentucky Derby on May 6th.

Flashy Bull worked a nice four furlongs in 49:80 on April 16th over the main track at Keeneland. It was the best work out of five at that distance. He cooled out well and is definitely on the right track.

He’ll work once more at Keeneland on Sunday April 22nd and then have his final pre-derby work on April 30th at Churchill Downs.

It has been a great journey that this colt has taken his owner on so far. On May 3rd, entry day for the derby, the field and post positions for the 2006 Kentucky Derby will be announced.
