He’s one of the more handsome members of our stable.

He’s one of the more handsome members of our stable. The near black Flat Bold takes on only five rivals in the $150,000 Tom Fool Handicap (gr. III) on Saturday at Aqueduct. A five-year-old son of Flatter, Flat Bold recently scored in a third level allowance on January 28th in ultra impressive fashion. Click here to watch the race.

Trainer Tom Albertrani said, “This horse looks fantastic. He’s trained very well over the past few weeks, and he fits very well against these horses.”

“This horse has been fun for his Partners,” said Terry Finley, president of West Point Thoroughbreds. “He’s had some setbacks here and there, but is a hard trying horse that has taken us to the winner’s circle four times. We think we’re in a good spot to notch his first career stakes win.”

Flat Bold is #5 of 6 with jockey Eddie Castro in the irons. The Tom Fool is race 5 with a post time of 2:52 EST.

Good luck to Flat Bold and his Partners!
