Get Down‘s final preparations have gone smoothly and he is firmly on course for Sunday’s Queen’s Plate at Woodbine.  The Doneraile Court colt has drawn post ten of ten in the $1,000,000 Grade 1 event.

Get Down could not be coming into the race in any better shape and the outside post should be to his advantage.  Leading New York rider Richard Migliore will fly up to partner the gray colt on Sunday.

The outside post should suit Get Down as Migliore will be able to relax him early on and gain a perfect position heading into the first turn.

Trainer Nancy Triola said, “Get Down has been moving powerfully in his training in the lead up to the big race.  I was very satisfied with his prep run in the Plate Trial which has put him in perfect shape for the Queen’s Plate.  We are all looking forward to a top class performance on Sunday”.

The Queen’s Plate will be Get Down’s sixth career start.  He has won three of five starts so far, earning over $136,000.
