Grand Victor remained unbeaten in his career by winning the “a other than” allowance at Keeneland on 10/9.  Breaking from post 2 after several scratches, Grand Victor got out of the gate a step slow.  Jockey Rafael Bejarano pushed Grand Victor up to the front, but Grand Victor was well within himself.  Grand Victor seized the lead while being pressured from the outside through a quarter-mile that went in 21.1.  The pace battle continued into the turn with Grand Victor holding a head lead after a half-mile that went in 44.2.  As the field entered the stretch, Grand Victor kicked clear by a length.  Rafael Bejarano shook him up and Grand Victor responded willingly under a vigorous hand ride through the lane to hold sway over the late chargers.  The official margin of victory was three-quarters of a length.  Grand Victor covered the six furlongs in a snappy 1:09.3.  Grand Victor collected $32,474 for the victory.
