This colt is an A++ physical by a hot young sire. Constitution finished 2021 as the nation’s leading third-crop sire and is knocking on the door to break into the top 10 on the 2022 General Sire list. Most of his top runners are colts, including Travers and Belmont Stakes winner Tiz the Law, Americanrevolution, and Independence Hall. BloodHorse article about the sire.

Out of a Candy Ride (Arg) mare, he has a very versatile pedigree and is suited to both dirt and turf racing.

Terry said, “The Constitutions are very impressive horses, and he has a chance to follow in his sire’s (Tapit) footsteps. We’ve loved several of them this sales season, and this colt is with the best of them. The bidding was fierce, but you hesitate to stop when you have all the attributes he does.”

John Sadler added, “He was one of the top colts in the entire sale for me. I love that he’s big, but not too big, and has a ton of reach in his walk. That usually translates over to a long-striding horse when we ask them to go fast.”

Price includes all acquisition costs and all training, veterinary, and insurance expenses until January 1, 2024.
