Electric Rose Outlook

This Pennsylvania-bred filly is from the first crop Flashback, a son of Tapit who was talented and precocious for Bob Baffert. He broke his maiden at first asking before winning the Bob Lewis Stakes (G2) around two turns in just his second start.

Out of a Valid Expectations mare, she’s bred on the same cross as Belmont Stakes (G1) winner Tapwrit.

The PA-bred program has become more and more lucrative over the years, with solid purses, a good number of restricted racing opportunities, and a nearly year-round state-bred stakes program. Top PA-bred fillies in recent years include Kentucky Oaks winner Princess of Sylmar and multiple grade one winner Unique Bella.

The filly worked a professional eighth of a mile in 10.2 seconds prior to the sale and jumped through all of our hoops -- showing very well back at the barn and vetting clean.

Graham Motion trained Kentucky Derby and Dubai World Cup winner Animal Kingdom. He’s also conditioned several top grade one winning fillies including Miss Temple City, Aruna, Film Maker, and Breeders’ Cup winner Shared Account.

Price includes all acquisition costs and all training, veterinary, and insurance expenses until January 1, 2019.

The filly is progressing nicely toward a debut over the winter for Graham Motion. Here she is breezing at Fair Hill:
