Darling Filly From First Crop of 2YO Champ Game Winner
Sold Out
From the first crop of champion Game Winner comes this lovely bay filly that we were thrilled to bring home from the first Saturday session of Keeneland September.
A scopey, powerfully-built filly with an imposing, fluid walk, Hip 1282 is out of a Medaglia d’Oro dam who’s produced three winners from three foals to race thus far, including Saracosa, a multiple graded stakes-placed filly who set a new track record at Colonial Downs when winning the Love Sign Stakes and stopping the clock in an eye-popping 1:39 3/5 for 1 1/16 miles.
There’s also a ton of class further down in the pedigree, particularly overseas and on turf. Third dam Korveya was a Group 3 winner in France who produced Bosra Sham, the tremendous multiple Group 1-winning filly who was named champion 3-year-old filly in Europe, as well as Hector Protector, a five-time Group 1 winner in France.
Game Winner was named champion 2-year-old colt after a trio of dominant Grade I wins. Injury forced him off of the Kentucky Derby trail, but there was little doubt he would’ve excelled at classic distances, with his second dam being the terrific multiple Grade I-winning router Fleet Indian. He followed his superstar sire Candy Ride to Lane’s End and has garnered a major buzz with his first yearlings.
Syndication price includes all veterinary, training, acquisition, and legal costs until January 1, 2025.
