Dead Ringer for Triple Crown Winning Sire

Justify/Flaming Heart colt

    • Flightline’s trainer, John Sadler, is all in on Justify

    • Hot family includes two Graded stakes-winning siblings

    • From the family of BC Classic winner Vino Rosso

For an encore after teaming together to buy Flightline as a yearling, the same group of owners turned to a dazzling colt from the first crop of Triple Crown hero Justify.

Justify has 74 colts and fillies in the Keeneland September catalog but it is hard to imagine that any of them could be more of his spitting image than this colt. Like Justify, the new colt will head to the West Coast, where he will join Flightline’s trainer, John Sadler.

The colt is from a female family that has been prominent in big races for much of the last decade. His half-brother Commissioner was a three-time Graded stakes winner and finished second by a head to Tonalist in the Belmont Stakes. Another half-brother was a Graded stakes winner in Canada, and their close relative Vino Rosso was the champion older male of 2019 when he erupted to a 4-length win in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1).

Trainer: John Sadler

  • Campaigned top horses like Flightline, Accelerate, Catalina Cruiser, Stellar Wind, Gift Box, Twirling Candy, amongst many others
  • 16 leading trainer titles in Southern California
  • Flawless work helming the career of Flightline, who won all six of his races by more than 70 lengths and dominated voting for Horse of the Year, champion older male and the world’s highest racehorse rankings.

It’s almost scary how much this colt looks like Justify. He’s athletic, smooth, and stretchy.
