This filly was a total value play at the Keeneland September Sale, and with her strong pedigree, could have some nice residual value if successful on the racetrack.

Travers Winner Medaglia D’Oro is among the leading sires in the country, and is particularly well known for successful fillies like Songbird, Rachel Alexandra, Elate, Plum Pretty, New Money Honey, and Bar of Gold.

The filly’s dam Zee Drop is a graded stakes placed daughter of Lemon Drop Kid. This is her first foal, so there is a lot of upside for this young family. She has a weanling filly by Quality Road. She’s bred on the same cross as two grade one winners, including Breeders’ Cup champ Bar of Gold.

“She’s just an athlete with great shoulder and hip angles,” said David Ingordo. “She vets well, and there are a lot of good things about her. I’m thrilled West Point bought her. She’s the kind I would have loved to take a shot on for myself to race.”

Trainer Arnaud Delacour has done exceptionally well with his West Point runners this year, winning at over 20% while 70% in the money. 2-year-old sale value play Independenceavanue is bound for a graded stake after breaking her maiden impressively at Colonial Downs.
