We were thrilled to secure this beautiful filly by Tiz the Law, one of the hottest young sires in the country. His first crop of 3-year-olds is already making waves, led by Louisiana Derby (G2) winner Tiztastic, and this filly fits right in with that rising reputation.
She breezed an eighth in 10 1/5 at OBS April and turned heads with a stride length of 24.59 feet—a remarkable 1.45 feet above the session average. It was one of the most eye-catching breezes of the sale in terms of both athleticism and efficiency.
This filly is as striking to look at as she is on paper. She’s a sweetheart in the barn and represents a proven cross—an A++ TrueNicks rating for Tiz the Law (by Constitution) with Empire Maker mares. That cross has produced top-class fillies like Amalfi Sunrise, Glass Ceiling, and Scythian, all Graded-stakes winners from just a handful of foals. It’s also the same cross that produced West Point’s two-time winner Statesman. Both Tiz the Law and Empire Maker conquered the Belmont Stakes (G1)—a rare dual influence of stamina and class in a modern commercial pedigree.
There’s no better conditioner for a filly with a classic pedigree than Shug McGaughey. A Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes, and Breeders’ Cup winner, Shug is renowned for his patience, horsemanship, and ability to develop top-tier fillies into Grade 1 performers. His resume includes Heavenly Prize, Pleasant Home, Storm Flag Flying, and Personal Ensign—all champions under his care.
Price includes all acquisition costs and training, veterinary, and insurance expenses until January 1, 2026.
In general, you might not have a hotter stallion in the country than Tiz the Law, and this is a classic distance pedigree.
