Moon’s Halo, West Point’s impressive two year old colt, is being pointed for the $150,000 Saratoga Special (G2) going six furlongs on July 28th at Saratoga.

Moon’s Halo won his debut in impressive fashion on June 19th at Belmont Park winning the MSW going five furlongs in a time of 57.1 seconds.  Eibar Coa was aboard for the trip and has been working with him in the mornings since the race.

Trainer Rick Violette brought him north to Saratoga and plans to blow him out over the Saratoga track over the weekend so that he gets a work over the strip before the race. He has been training well since his big win and we are very excited to see how he does against winners of this caliber.

This Halo’s Image colt is a very special young horse and on July 28th at Saratoga in the $150,000 Saratoga Special (G2) he has a chance to show how good he is.
