West Point Thoroughbreds Ready For Saratoga

July 24, 2005 · By · Share
The Saratoga meet is quickly approaching and West Point Thoroughbreds is ready! Opening day is July 27th and we are optimistic that we will have our best meet ever.  West Point Thoroughbreds' President Terry Finley said, "the Saratoga meet is very exciting; the level of racing is unparalleled. If you can be successful there you obviously have good horses that can really run and are doing something right."
We have an impressive string of horses waiting to compete at Saratoga. Our trainers, have about twenty horses that are either ready or in training for races at the meet. There are two year olds, older horses, and horses of all levels.

We have some horses with the potential to run in some of of the most prestigious races at the meet.  Crimson Stag returns to the track where he broke his maiden with the potential of running in the $150,000 Amsterdam Stakes(G2) on August 7th.  Thunderprince is pointing for $150,000 Albany Stakes for NY Breds on August 24th.

This is one of the strongest rosters of horses that West Point Thoroughbreds has ever sent to the SPA. The sky is the limit with a group of athletes at this level and it all begins with Afternoon Que in a MSW on opening day.
