Flashy Bull West Point Thoroughbreds' two-year-old son of Holy Bull is set to contest the $200,000 Remsen Stakes(G2) on November 26th at Aqueduct.  The Remsen is run around two turns and is the traditional kickoff for the winter Triple Crown prep races.

Holy Bull is the sire of 2005 Kentucky Derby(G1) winner Giacomo.  Flashy Bull who ran second to Grade 1 winner Private Vow at Saratoga broke his maiden last out in his first try at a route of ground.

Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin said, "I have always liked this horse.  He's sound, and he has the pedigree to go long.  I always thought he'd get better as the distances increased.  We got a great foundation under him sprinting, and he ran with some really quality horses.  He was right there.  Then we finally were able to stretch him out, and he responded beautifully.  He relaxed nice and won so easily.  This is a big step up, but I think this colt has the experience to compete and could really be a nice one."

The Remsen will be run as the seventh race on the Aqueduct card.  The post time is 3:19 EST.
