Yolanda B. Too won the NW3X Allowance race going one and one sixteenth miles on the dirt on July 14th at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Belmont Park. After an awkward break Yolanda rushed herself up to the lead and was in control the rest of the way.  Turning for home the favorite, Notre Dame, made a big move to catch and go by her but Yolanda would have nothing to do with that. Instead she dug in and pulled away from her in the stretch winning by almost three lengths.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Trainer Rick Violette commented "she seemed a bit nervous about the gate which caused her to have a poor start but after that it was all her.  Edgar was very still on her down the stretch. She handled the distance well and beat a very good race horse today. She showed that she was much the best today."

Jockey Edgar Prado commented "The poor start didn't seem to bother her she was all business.  She was in complete control and when I asked her to go she went. The other horses where no match for her. She is the real deal."

Yolanda B. Too earned $30,000 for her effort bringing her career total to an impressive $206,600.
