Flashy Bull wins again!!!

April 18, 2007 · By · Share

Flashy Bull won again in convincing fashion on April 18th at Aqueduct. He showed the utmost professionalism rating behind a speed duel before looming into contention on the turn for home and drawing off in the stretch to a convincing four-length score in the "two other than" allowance at Aqueduct. The victory runs Flashy Bull's winning streak to two, and it represents another solid step forward for Flashy Bull in his four-year-old season.

Flashy Bull broke well and settled for jockey Alan Garcia into a stalking position in third.  He remained in third, three-lengths back, through a half-mile in 45.2.  Flashy Bull cruised up on the turn then gained command when asked and drew off at will through the lane. Flashy Bull clocked the mile distance in a sharp 1:35 flat.

Kiaran's assistant Artie said, "We knew how well Flashy Bull was training. He was sitting on a big race today, and he showed it. He got the perfect ride from Alan (Garcia), and he showed the will to win.  That's the most impressive thing. He has really shown the desire to win in his last couple races, and he's finished the job. He got a lot of confidence from that last race, and he carried it forward today."

Flashy Bull earned $28,800 for his win bringing his career total to an impressive $270,450.
