High Finance second choice in Tom Fool(G2)
High Finance is the second choice in the $200,000 Tom Fool Handicap(G2) going seven furlongs on July 4th at Belmont. He has drawn post three out of seven with John Velazquez, who rode High Finance in his last race, in the irons. High Finance enters the Tom Fool off of a devastating victory in a "three other than" allowance race at Belmont last time out where he earned an eye-popping 115 Beyer Figure.
West Point Thoroughbreds President Terry Finley said, "This horse has shown flashes of brilliance that few other horses can match. We have struggled to find the key to consistency for him, but it looks like he really woke up in his last race. He loves the Belmont surface, and he's training great."
