Cat On The Line wins again

April 13, 2008 · By · Share

Cat On The Line continued his string of strong performances capturing an "a other than" allowance at Philadelphia Park.  In a race loaded with speed, Cat On The Line settled well behind the early pace.  Cat On The Line began his advance while splitting foes on the turn then swung out into the stretch to rally furiously and get up for the victory in the final strides.

Trainer Lupe Preciado said, "The horse showed a lot of determination.  He's matured, and we gave him the time.  He settled early in the race, and that allowed us to sit behind all the speed.  The way he ran makes me think he will go further.  We don't need to change too much because you don't want to fix what isn't broken.  However, we could have even more options open to us going forward."

Cat On The Line, a four-year-old son of Tale of the Cat now has four career wins, and the victory pushed his career earnings over $100,000.
