Macho Again entered in Grade 2 Jim Dandy
Macho Again drew ideally in post seven of eight for Sunday's $500,000 Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga. A three-year-old son of Macho Uno, Macho Again will make his first start since the Belmont Stakes. After finishing second in the Preakness Stakes, Macho Again will now get a rematch with Belmont winner Da' Tara in the Jim Dandy.
Macho Again could not be training better. Trainer Dallas Stewart has never been more bullish on the way Macho Again enters the race. He said, "The colt is jumping out of his skin. He has been very keen and feeling good. He loves this track, and he has freshened up nicely. We expect a big summer from him."
West Point Thoroughbreds President Terry Finley said, "This is the kind of race we all love to run in. There's nothing more exciting than running in a graded stake at Saratoga. Certainly, we will face several very nice horses, but we know that we bring a very nice horse to the starting gate. We would not want to trade places with anyone, period."
Post time for the Jim Dandy is 5:53 pm EDT. The race will be televised by TVG and HRTV.
