WPT's Own 'March Madness'

Stable To Have 7 Horses Running Throughout Weekend

It's that time of year again, time to watch grown men jump up and down uncontrollably and hug each other like little children.  You thought I was talking about the NCAA Tournament?  No, here our focus is our horses and this weekend, WPT has 7 entered during the weekend.

On Saturday, our outstanding 3-year-old filly Fitz Just Right looks to win her first graded stakes race in the G3 $150,000 Bourbonette at Turfway Park.  Fitz broke a track record in winning her last start in the Ocala Breeders' Championship, and anything close to her last effort should make her tough in the Bourbonette.  Also that day at Turfway Park, Phosphorescent returns to run in the $50,000-added Hansel Stakes.

Meanwhile, at Aqueduct on Saturday, South Bronx makes his eagerly-anticipated debut; while Drowning Bear will look to notch his second career win in a NY-Bred NW1X allowance later on the card.  Also, down in Louisiana, Smile Down On Me will look to break his maiden

On Sunday, we'll go coast-to-coast with horses running in New York and California.  On the east coast, Pygmalion is scheduled to be in action at Aqueduct, while on the west, Beloved Deputy will head to the post for the first time in a MSW at Santa Anita.

Let the Madness begin!
