Graded Stakes Winner Doing Much Better

Mr. Fantasy is doing much better after spiking a fever Saturday morning that forced him to miss the Metropolitan Handicap Monday at Belmont Park.  Kiaran McLaughlin said he looked and acted much better this morning.

Depending on how Mr. Fantasy reacts over the next few days, there are two possible targets for his next race.  One is the G2 $250,000 Woody Stephens at Belmont Park on June 6th (Belmont Stakes Day).  The other would be the $100,000 Mike Lee on June 21st at Belmont.  The Mike Lee is the first leg of the Big Apple Triple.

"Obviously, we were disappointed to miss the Met Mile," said WPT President Terry Finley.  "We remain extremely excited, however, about this guy going forward and think he's going to have a tremendous campaign the rest of the way."
