West Point Ranked 4th In Nation By Graded Stakes Wins

October 12, 2009 · By · Share

West Point Thoroughbreds currently stands fourth in the nation amongst owners for graded stakes wins according to the American Graded Stakes Standings.  If Darley and Godolphin are combined, we stand third in the country. We would like to thank our partners, the West Point Thoroughbreds team, and our hard knocking horses that have enabled us to reach this milestone. We are proud to be the #1 partnership in the country.

In 2009, the following horses have carried the black and gold silks to victory in graded stakes competition:

*Awesome Gem

*Macho Again

*Mr. Fantasy

West Point Thoroughbreds' founder and president Terry Finley said, "We are having a great year.  It is truly an honor to be ranked fourth in the nation with six graded stakes wins by four different horses. We have earnings of over $3.2 million this year. This fall is shaping up to be an exciting season. Justwhistledixie returns to the races, and we anticipate starting both Awesome Gem and Macho Again in the Breeders' Cup Championships at Santa Anita."
