Amazed By Grace Seeks 5 In A Row!

November 23, 2009 · By · Share

West Point Thoroughbreds' talented three-year-old filly, Amazed By Grace is trying for her 5th straight victory in Tuesday's $75,000 Cornucopia Stakes at Philadelphia Park.  The daughter of Bowman's Band has taken Philadelphia Park by storm, winning three out of here last four starts there. She is coming off a 4 ½ length victory in a tough "three other than" allowance on November 8. With three horses in graded stakes on Friday, West Point is looking to kick off what could be a very exciting Thanksgiving weekend with a victory in the Cornucopia.

Trainer Guadalupe Preciado is very excited about his filly's stakes debut. "She has been training very well since her last race. This filly has really developed into something nice. Just think, earlier this year we weren't sure if we'd make it to the races, and here she is going for five in a row."

Amazed By Grace has earned nearly $110,000 in her six race career. She has hit the board in five of those six starts.

The Cornucopia is Race 9 on Tuesday with a post time of 3:50 EST. Amazed By Grace will break from post 4 under Victor Molina.
