Feed A Fever Wins!!
Feed A Fever feasted on her opponents winning with authority to break her maiden at Hollywood Park. Feed A Fever broke well and settled midpack through the early stages of the race. Jockey Martin Pedroza kept Feed A Fever tucked in heading into the turn as she advanced into striking range. When the leader drifted out, Pedroza gave Feed A Fever her cue, and she responded gamely surging to the lead and drawing off in a hand ride to win by more than three-lengths.
Trainer Craig Dollase said, "She has been training so well. I was very confident before the race. She just seemed to be getting better."
Martin Pedroza said, "She tries so hard. She settled nicely for me early. When I got free coming off the turn I knew it was just a matter of how much I was going to win by."
Feed A Fever came out of the race well. We look to get her back in the starting gate early at the Santa Anita meet. Hopefully this win boosted her confidence, and we have a productive winter campaign with her.
