West Point Partners With LPGA Player

July 01, 2010 · By · Share

West Point Thoroughbreds president Terry Finley loves to play golf. He is out playing on this beautiful Thursday morning in Saratoga. So when the opportunity arose to partner with a promising LPGA player, Finley was eager to combine his passion for horses with his passion for golf.

West Point Thoroughbreds is proud to announce that we have partnered with promising young LPGA player Whitney Wade for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Wade, 24, was an All-American at the University of Georgia before turning pro three years ago. She was recently sixth on the 2009 money list on the Duramed FUTURES tour. The future looks very bright for this young lady.

As part of the partnership, Wade will wear the West Point logo during tournament play. She also received a share in West Point's three-year-old colt The Defense Rests.
