Too Wild For Words Wins!!!

August 04, 2010 · By · Share

Too Wild For Words was too wild to handle on Saturday when romped in his career debut at Arlington Park. He broke alertly and showed good speed out of the gate. He assumed a stalking position a couple lengths off the early pacesetter before launching a strong bid on the turn. Despite not changing leads, he pulled away to score by 4 3/4 lengths. The final turn for the the six and one half furlongs was 1:16.49.

Trainer Wayne Catalano said, "I've always liked this colt, but I did not expect this from him. He really ran away with this race. He is still green and is only going to get better from here."

Junior Alvarado said, "This is a very nice horse. As soon as I asked him on the turn, he took off."

Too Wild For Words earned $16,800 for the victory. Look for him to run back in a couple weeks at Arlington. The future looks bright for this son of Offlee Wild.
