Too Wild For Words Wins!

August 31, 2010 · By · Share

Words cannot explain what it feels like to win. It's too great for words.  Our undefeated gelding, Too Wild For Words made it two in a row with his impressive victory on Sunday as the heavy favorite at Arlington Park. Breaking from post two, Too Wild For Words rated nicely in the early stages before sticking his neck in front down the backside.  Junior Alvarado eased off the gas pedal around the turn before circling around the leader and striking the front. He drew clear to win by an easy 1 3/4 lengths. The final time for the one mile was 1:38.34, one of the faster mile times of the Arlington meet.

Wayne Catalano said, "I told the rider not to ride him too hard early on and to try and get him to relax. He did just that. I knew if he ran back to his last race that he would win. He did not change leads in the stretch and still had plenty left in the tank. This is a nice horse."

Junior Alvarado said, "My horse ran so well. He listened to me and relaxed down the backside and then I waited with him on the turn. When I asked him for run, he responded."

Too Wilds For Words earned $18,300 and remains undefeated with his second career win. Look for him back in action in a few weeks. The future looks bright for this son of Offlee Wild.
