Saratoga Monday Aug 25

Mozambique Gold has acted like she has talent and her works on the grass have been strong. Weaver and his wife Cindy, who exercises a lot of the horses have some excellent riders who follow instructions to a tee. For example, this filly has worked around the dogs ranging from 18 to 56 feet out on the Oklahoma turf Course, but the Weaver sets go an additional 30-45 feet outside those dogs, traveling much farther. All of the works including a quick gate on August 6.

Puca didn't show much patience when slow in a gate workon July 20 when she broke bad, flew to catch workmate. She broke bad again in her debut. She just may the type that breaks hard and dirt breaks out under her, she is, then, behind the eight ball. Being by Big Brown she is already pegged as a turf horse as much success as Big Brown had himself early in career and his progenies have had on turf. She does have ability and we will if she can break with field on turf.

Complicated is a Blame filly making her debut on the turf for Shug. Out of an El Prado mare and with Rosie on board on August 9, showed some route speed. Been on turf in last two works and looking OK around the dogs

Lady Eli, an expensive daughter of Divine Park, who has trained strongly on turf and merits a long look here Chad Brown. Her turf works been strong and she had a good gate work on August 18 when best over a slow starting mate. She's finished her turf works in sub 24 last fractions, got to like that

Hail Cornell is by a Red Ransom stallion, the long lasting line of Roberto is infamous for turf and distance. Even race in debut won by her stablemate Lady of Victory should go far here. Jose Lezcano, a super turf rider climbs aboard for very patient Bill Mott.
