Street Surrender wins for the 4th time
Street Surrender found the winner’s circle for the fourth time in her career when she bested two rivals in an allowance on Sunday at Golden Gate.
The pretty chestnut daughter of Street Boss was dispatched at odds of thirty cents on the dollar and took command from the git go. Under confident urging by jockey Julien Couton, she kicked clear to score comfortably.
“What a difference six months has made with this filly,” said trainer Jerry Hollendorfer. “The first time she went two turns she was really rank and finished last. We’ve worked to get her to relax and I’m proud of her.”
