On Wednesday, the New York Racing Association (NYRA) released the stakes schedules and purse structures for the 2012 Belmont Park spring and Saratoga Race Course meets. As expected, purses will increase across the board thanks to VLT revenue in the state. It’s an exciting time to run a horse in New York and an even more exciting time to own a New York-bred runner. We have both at WPT and we’re looking forward to the future.
