Seattle Fitz, a five-year-old son of Fitzcarraldo, will seek his first Grade 1 victory when he lines up in the $750,000 Whitney Handicap(G1) on August 7th

Seattle Fitz, a five-year-old son of Fitzcarraldo, will seek his first Grade 1 victory when he lines up in the $750,000 Whitney Handicap(G1) on August 7th at Saratoga.  Seattle Fitz enters the Whitney of back-to-back graded stakes victories including a stakes record tying score in the $250,000 Brooklyn Handicap(G2) at Belmont.


Seattle Fitz was purchased in 2002 by West Point President Terry Finley and campaigned in the fall of 2002 and spring of 2003 in Dubai before shipping to the United States in the late spring on 2003.


Purchased for less than $140,000 Seattle Fitz has now earned over $590,000 in 20 career starts.


The Whitney Handicap will be televised live on ESPN between 5 and 6 PM EDT on August 7th.
