We’re still trying to catch our breath following Commanding Curve’s runner-up finish in the 140th running of the Kentucky Derby.

Commanding Curve Partners from around the country converged in Louisville with their family and friends with a common goal, seeing their horse compete in the Kentucky Derby.

It was an unforgettable experience shared by all, and we want to share our story with you in this video.

Thrilled for Terry and the entire Finley family both immediate and extended. What a thrill. Thanks for sharing the video. I look forward to the Sequel in June. Only Godfather 2 was better than the original so let’s make sure the next video follows that path!! Good Luck.

In the paddock, there were 5 or 6 couples of the West Point partners watching the race on the big screen. We could see our boy making his move, and we all new he had made it into second. After the finish, there were all of us hugging, screaming, and crying. People around us thought we were crazy, until they realized our connection. I am sure they saw how proud we were to be part of this great team, and the effort they had made!

Congratulations and great job by everyone involved. It was a very exciting race and something that I’m sure all of you will cherish for your entire life. As a person planning on becoming a member of the West Point family in the next year, I was going crazy yelling for Commanding Curve as the came down the stretch. I know people around me thought I was crazy but as it all unfolded I saw myself in a couple of years. Again, congratulations to the entire West Point family.
