Sharp Humor colt Prepping for Del Mar Debut / Thursday, July 3, 2014

July 7 Update: The Sharp Humor/Pecan Bayou colt named Ultra Sharp worked a half mile in company in 47 flat (6 of 36) this morning at Santa Anita under Corey Nakatani. He broke off a few lengths behind his workmate and ranged up willingly before finishing strong. Corey got off and said to Craig, “This is a real nice horse. He took dirt like a pro, accelerated when I asked him, and galloped out past the wire. He’s ready to go five eighths.”

After next week's five furlong work, we could very well be in a position to circle a race target with this handsome dark bay.
