In September broke her maiden in style at Belmont Park before finishing third in the Frizette (G1). The Black Eyed Susan is the second graded stakes appearance for the daughter of Congrats.

“We know she’s going to have to improve off her last effort to get a piece of it on Friday, but she’s trained well since shipping back up from Florida,” says WPT president Terry Finley. “We wouldn’t mind at all if it were to rain this week knowing that she ran huge over a wet track at Gulfstream earlier this year. Tom (Albertrani) is putting blinkers on for the first time. She can get a little lazy turning for home, and the blinkers should make her sharper.”

Javier Castellano will wear the black and gold silks on Friday. Post time for race 10 4:47 ET. Toasting breaks from post 8 in the field of 9.

Best of luck to her Partners. We hope you are “toasting” to a win come Friday afternoon.
