Leading North American trainer Todd Pletcher has teamed with West Point Thoroughbreds and will train three two-year-olds for us.
Pletcher, an extremely familiar face in racing and has won the Eclipse Award for leading trainer five times. He’s trained champions Ashado, English Channel, Fleet Indian, Lawyer Ron, Left Bank, Rags to Riches, Speightstown, and Wait A While as well as 2009 Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver. Pletcher trains 2011 Kentucky Derby hopefuls Uncle Mo and Stay Thirsty. He is currently the leading trainer in the country by stakes winners.
West Point is excited to have Pletcher join their team. He will assume training duties for:
–Macho Uno/Champagne Cocktail colt
–Lion Heart/Song ‘n Dance filly
–Flashy Bull-Laelia filly
