Trophy Point/Watercolors Find Winner’s Circle / Friday, August 2, 2013

The WPT Parx contingent was very active earlier this week, with two horses finding the winner’s circle.

Trophy Point scored by three lengths on Monday under leading jockey Kendrick Carmouche. The 3-year-old Lemon Drop Kid filly competed mostly in route races earlier in her career, but has now found her niche as a closing sprinter.

On Tuesday, Watercolors became the stable’s newest multiple winner with a gate to wire score in a starter allowance at Parx. Off at 0.40-1, the dark bay Tale of the Cat filly drew away in the lane to score by four lengths.

Congratulations the Partners and Lupe Preciado, trainer of both fillies. Look for them back in action in a few weeks.
