The start may not have been what dreams are made of, but the finish sure was nice. Trumpeter Swan missed the break by two lengths in his debut on 2/14 but quickly settled into a comfortable stride before drawing even with the leader at the head of the stretch and drawing off to a three-length win.  The three-year-old son of A.P Jet was making his career debut and showed tremendous heart after the rough beginning to the race.
