A second place finish by Crimson StagWest Point Thoroughbreds has crossed the $1 million mark in purse earnings for the second time in three years.

A second place finish by Crimson Stag in a Keeneland allowance race on October 29th pushed West Point over the million dollar mark.

West Point President Terry Finley said, “We’ve had over eighteen different horses win so far this year, and we still have two months to go.  I think this demonstrates how we have stressed managing each horse as an individual to maximize success.  We can talk all we want, but when it comes down to it it’s all about what we do on the racetrack.  Getting to the winner’s circle is everyone’s dream, and I’m thrilled we can help people achieve their dream.”

With a full fall anticipated, West Point is set to challenge both its single season earnings and victory mark.
