Pascaline and Coast Along teamed up for a pair of impressive wins on August 23-24 at Colonial Downs in Virginia.

A 2-year-old colt discovered in England this spring, Pascaline scored a sharp debut win, surging through a tight seam in the stretch and bounding away to prevail by a length and three-quarters. Veteran jockey Victor Carrasco came back early from paternity leave to ride Pascaline, who made a smooth transition to the Arnaud Delacour barn after being acquired in April at the Tattersalls Craven sale of two-year-olds in training.

Coast Along has come to life as a turf sprinter, speeding to his second win in a row for jockey Forest Boyce and Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey. The 4yo gelding earned a spiffy 90 Beyer drawing off by 3 1/2 lengths in this one.
